Autoload:

The autoload system offers a convenient way of automatically topping up the credit on the university card. This function ensures that the credit balance is always monitored and topped up in good time so that there are always sufficient funds available for catering. To use the autoload system, users simply register with their university card and bank details at the cashier’s office. An individual minimum credit balance and a top-up amount are set. As a thank you, users receive 10% of the top-up amount as a gift when they top up for the first time.

Mensabons

The Studierendenwerk offers a practical solution for catering for participants at conferences and school class visits with its canteen vouchers in various designs. These vouchers enable an uncomplicated and flexible catering solution that meets the needs and preferences of groups. The use of the Mensa vouchers is very simple: The organizers can purchase the vouchers in advance from the Studierendenwerk and distribute them to the participants. They can then redeem the vouchers in the Studierendenwerk canteens.

An ideal gift for canteen guests: Our beautifully designed canteen voucher can be issued for any amount from €10.00 and can be redeemed in all Studierendenwerk cafés and canteens.

Kiko card: Kids eat for free

The Studierendenwerk Saarland offers students with children a free children’s plate (Kiko) in its canteens. Here is the most important information about the offer:

The Kiko card entitles children of students to a free meal in the canteens if one parent also eats there.

Application:

Documents required: Certificate of enrollment of one parent and birth certificate or child ID of the child

Validity: One semester

Distribution points: Saarland University: Cashier’s office in Saarbrücken (Building D4.1) or ticket office in Homburg (Building 74), University of Applied Sciences: Family Office (Göbenstraße 40, Building 8)

Utilization:

Valid in all Studierendenwerk canteens (not in cafeterias)

For all hot dishes on a special children’s plate

The KIKO card must be shown at the ticket counter
